Distance of the trip 1503.75miles
Number of days = 7.5
Step 2:
Distance travelled per day = 1503.75 / 7.5 = 200.5 miles
Aaron s car travels 284.27 miles the highway on one full tank. If his fuel tank holds 10.85 gallons, then how far can he travel on one gallon of gas?
Solution
Step 1:
Distance travelled in 10.85 gallons = 284.27 miles
Step 2:
Distance travelled in one gallon = 284.27/10.85 = 26.2 miles
